Tutor - Virtual

Job Description This person will provide virtual direct instruction to a student, likely outside of the school day. This position will likely last through the end of the school year, and will include up to 10 hours per week of virtual tutoring.

• Confers with classroom teacher(s), counselor, social worker or other school personnel on the student's needs.
• Develops and completes instructional lessons.
• Provides the student and the family with supplementary instructional material as may be needed to reinforce lessons. Job Requirements A minimum of a Bachelor''s degree is required Citizenship, residency or work visa required Knowledge of instructional practices, subject matter, assessment practices and other information that is required in a particular assignment. Written, oral, interpersonal and technological skills that are appropriate to the assignment.
