Non Bargaining Tutor Position(s)

Academic Day: Monday-Friday; 7:15 am to 1 pm

Compensation: $20 per hour for qualified applicants

Hours: 5.75 hours per day not to exceed 28.75 hours per week

Overview:

HOPE Tutors play an important role in the educational experience of HOPE students. Their main role is to support the online program by monitoring the classroom and helping students with time management. The goal is for students to complete work and earn passing grades and credits towards graduation. Excellent communication skills as well and the ability to establish rapport with students in the program are essential.

Qualifications

  • Appropriate and valid Ohio Teaching License

Requirements must be on file before starting:

  • Valid and appropriate Ohio Teaching License
  • Official Transcripts
  • Current favorable State and Federal background checks
  • Negative Drug Screen
