Job Description

EHC is seeking an Accessory and Full-Length Division Process & Finish Supervisor for a Client in the Houston Area

Primary Function

The Process & Finish Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all Process and Finish personnel involved in pre-manufacturing processing activities and post-manufacturing finishing requirements. This position ensures efficient operations, adherence to safety standards, workforce management, equipment maintenance, and quality compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities of Process and Finish personnel, conduct required training, and complete employee evaluations.
  • Ensure all personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety requirements are followed.
  • Schedule Process and Finish personnel based on production workload and operational demands.
  • Communicate with Inside Sales regarding customer orders and participate in daily production meetings.
  • Oversee the maintenance and functionality of department equipment.
  • Participate in required on-call rotation schedules.
  • Support and participate in internal and external audits related to Process and Finish operations.
  • Complete disciplinary documentation when necessary and submit reports to Human Resources.
  • Print and maintain stress relief charts as required.
  • Follow, support, and promote all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Tools, Equipment, and Machines

  • Operate business machines and manufacturing equipment necessary to support efficient and stable operations.
  • Utilize applicable inspection, measuring, and testing equipment in accordance with established work instructions and quality requirements.

Qualifications

Education
  • High School Diploma, GED, Trade School certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of industry-related experience.
Skills and Abilities
  • Successful completion of required proficiency assessments.
  • Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions within 90 days of hire.

Training Requirements

  • Completion of company safety training programs.
  • Review of required management system documentation and reading materials.
  • Quality systems orientation and training.
  • Formal training on company work instructions and applicable industry standards as outlined in the training matrix.
