UI Web Developer

Position Description 

This position is for a Senior User Interface Developer for Morgan Stanley Wealth Managements Client Channel Technology at Morgan Stanleys New York offices. The candidate is expected to code, conduct code reviews, and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of the SDLC. The candidate should be flexible, highly adaptable and excellent team player. The candidate is expected to work as part of an agile team that consist of web application and web services developers. The candidate should expect to work in a global virtual team, sometimes across multiple time zones. The candidate should be experienced in web development and JavaScript Technologies. He or she should have at least 5+ years of web application development experience. Exposure or experience to web development is required and mobile web development will be considered an added bonus. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player committed to delivering on time and should be able to work with under supervision. 

Responsibilities & Skills Required: 

5+ years of professional experience in building responsive websites Solid understanding and experience with Object-Oriented design and development Must have a thorough understanding of web technologies and web architect
