Ultrasound Technologist

Pride Health is hiring a Ultrasound Technologist to support our client's healthcare facility in New York, NY 10016. 
 
Job Details: 
Schedule:  Mon - Thurs: 9am -5:30pm, Fri: 8am - 4:30pm
Location:  New York, NY 10016
Job Type: Local contract 
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Pay Range: $50.00 to $53.00/hour*

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  
 Duties: 

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiac Sonography, or Vascular Technology program.
• Experience performing echocardiography and/or vascular ultrasound.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac/vascular anatomy, physiology, ultrasound principles, and Doppler techniques.
• Ability to work independently and recognize technically inadequate studies.
• Cardiology or outpatient clinical experience preferred.
  
  Certifications:
• RDCS – preferred/required for cardiac echo.
• RVT – preferred/required for vascular studies.
• ARDMS credentials – preferred.
• BLS certification – required.
