Hiring for: Full-time & Part-time
Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols and standards.
Operate ultrasound equipment effectively and safely during imaging procedures.
Conduct patient assessments and history-taking to ensure proper examination technique.
Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment and supplies to ensure optimal functionality.
Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to discuss findings and patient care.
Ensure accurate documentation of procedures, patient data, and imaging results in medical records.
Adhere to infection control and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Assists radiologists and qualified providers with special procedures (biopsies, aspiration, etc.).
Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job.
Willingness to adapt to changes in workload, procedures, and schedule.
Additional duties assigned.
Requirements include but are not limited to:
Graduate of an accredited radiologic health science program or School of Ultrasonography; and registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or be registry eligible.
Prefer prior sonographer experience.
Demonstrate proficiency in performing a variety of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular exams.
Strong communication skills to interact compassionately with patients and medical staff.
Ability to operate ultrasound machines and technology effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong observational and analytical skills.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Required to be current in BLS (Basic Life Support) by the standards of the American Heart Association.
Required to show proof of having completed Mandatory Reporter course at the time of hire or attend within 6 months of start date.
Must adhere to all training requirements as mandated by Federal, State, and Professional licensure and regulatory standards.
