Unarmed Security Guard

BMC23 Security LLC is looking for a reliable and professional Unarmed Security Guard to join our growing team in Springfield, MA. Responsibilities: 

• Monitor and patrol assigned premises to deter unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism
• Conduct regular foot patrols of interior and exterior areas of the facility
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches
• Control access points by screening visitors, employees, and vehicles
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies while coordinating with law enforcement as needed
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and security documentation
• Provide excellent customer service and assist the public in a professional manner

Requirements:
 

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Valid Massachusetts Security Guard License or ability to obtain one
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military is a plus
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and written reporting skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods of time
• Professional demeanor with a calm, authoritative presence
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
