Now hiring professional and dependable Unarmed Security Officers for assignments throughout the Richmond area, including medical facilities, office properties, and other professional environments. We are seeking individuals with strong customer service skills, professionalism, and the ability to maintain a safe and secure environment.

This position is ideal for individuals who are reliable, observant, and capable of interacting professionally with staff, visitors, patients, and the public.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned properties and surrounding areas
• Conduct routine foot patrols
• Maintain a visible security presence
• Observe and report suspicious activity
• Write detailed incident and daily activity reports
• Assist with access control and visitor management
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and disturbances
• Provide excellent customer service at all times

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Virginia DCJS Unarmed Security License
• DCJS certification is required before employment
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude
• Must be able to pass a background screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous security, military, law enforcement, or medical facility experience preferred but not required
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

Schedule

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available
