Assignments are within the context of Engineering's Quality Management System (including safety risk management) and are performed in a multi-disciplinary development engineering environment. The intern will be responsible for completing all internship-related assignments and reports for both Mayo Clinic and the participating educational facility (if applicable).

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; have strong technical writing skills and be able to author technical documents; demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams; work independently; have experience in new product development; have experience with project management tools (e.g. ClickUp, Microsoft Project); have proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Office, SharePoint, Teams, and Excel to manage data and create reports; and have a desire to learn about medical device development.
