Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.

Position Summary: Unit Secretary/Aide Cath Lab Per Diem Lawrence campus

As theUnit Secretary /Aide, youwill providesecretarial and clerical support to the nursing unit and provide ancillary patient care services in the role of Aide (i.e. Nursing Assistant) on the unit as needed, and in accordance with age-specific category requirements.

EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Previous experience performing clerical and phone duties in an office or health-care related environment
  • Must have an outstanding customer service attitude and demonstrate a commitment to professional behavior.

Preferred:

  • Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant
  • One year experience as CNA or MA
  • Nursing students whocompleted oneyear of nursing clinical training are also qualified.
  • Knowledge of health care terminology
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn multiple health care-related computer systems
