PMC has a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, an adult intensive care unit, nationally recognized orthopedic services, a full suite of cardiac care, Center of Excellence recognized surgeons, imaging, primary and specialty care. ResponsibilitiesProvides administrative and/or clerical support to ED Director/Manager. Under the general direction of the charge nurse(RN) and Medical control. Provides EMR support to Staff. Assist the department in day-to-day operations. Assists in smooth patient flow throughout the Emergency Department, while functioning as the focal communication source. Works on special projects as needed/requested QualificationsJob Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.EMT certification.BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Electronic medical records software.Ability to work varied shifts.
