We are a leading provider of software solutions for various domains and industries. We are looking for a resourceful, accountable, customer -oriented software developer. Willingness to learn additional development languages, including MultiValue database programming (specifically, Rocket Software’s U2 products: UniVerse, U2 Web DE) – training to be provided. As a UniVerse Developer you would be responsible for developing and supporting Financial, HR, Payroll, Tax Administration, and Community Development applications. This position is based out of the greater Philadelphia area, but remote / hybrid work will be considered.

Responsibilities:<\/b><\/u>
<\/p>

• Develop and maintain front -end / web interfaces for data entry and database / reporting integration
  <\/p><\/li>

• Create and maintain 3rd -party interfaces using SOAP, JSON, and web services
  <\/p><\/li>

• Provide technical support for existing web -based application software
  <\/p><\/li>

• Ability to troubleshoot and to read through code to resolve technical issues independently
  <\/p><\/li>

• Perform comprehensive testing of new software modules and/or releases
  <\/p><\/li>

• Analyze specific product support assignments from senior software developers and specialists; take ownership of these assignments through full resolution
  <\/p><\/li>

• Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly, whether to technical peers or non -technical colleagues/customers
  <\/p><\/li>

• Communicate with customers (via phone, remote sessions, live chat, and email) to identify and resolve support issues
  <\/p><\/li>

• Deliver software updates and patches to customers as needed
  <\/p><\/li>

• Write technical specifications and support documentation
  <\/p><\/li>

• Assist in on -site customer training, support, and implementation of software applications
  <\/p><\/li>

• Willingness to travel occasionally, mostly East Coast and Midwest
  <\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/span>
  

  Requirements<\/h3>

  Basic Qualifications:<\/b><\/u>
  <\/p>

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
    <\/p><\/li>

  • At least 3 years of experience programming Classic ASP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and VBScript
    <\/p><\/li>

  • At least 3 years of experience developing/supporting database -driven, transactional web applications
    <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    Preferred Qualifications:<\/b><\/u>
    <\/p>

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
      <\/p><\/li>

    • 3 years of experience in Microsoft Excel (Specifically advanced features? Ex. Apps Script, VBA, and/or Macros)
      <\/p><\/li>

    • 5+ years experience in software development
