    Job Summary

    Responsible for performing diagnostic urodynamic testing to evaluate bladder and urinary tract function in patients. This role involves direct patient care, patient education, clinical procedures, and collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

    Essential Functions

    Perform urodynamic testing procedures, including uroflowmetry, cystometry, and electromyography (EMG).
    Ensure testing equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and functioning according to established standards.
    Educate patients regarding urodynamic testing procedures and address questions or concerns.
    Record, analyze, and document test data while maintaining accurate and complete patient records.
    Communicate test results and relevant clinical information to physicians and other healthcare professionals in a timely and accurate manner.
    Assist physicians with patient care, including catheterization, bladder irrigation, and administration of medications as ordered.
    Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment.
    Follow infection control policies, standard precautions, and applicable clinical and safety guidelines.

    High School Diploma or Equivalent required

    Licenses and Credentials

    Experience
    Experience performing urodynamic testing in a healthcare setting. 1-2 years preferred

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    - Knowledge of urodynamic testing procedures, equipment, and protocols.
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret data.
    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    - Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
    - Completion of a urodynamic technician training program or equivalent healthcare training.
