The SRMC Urology team has grown significantly, driven by the addition of advanced technological treatments and rising demand for high-quality urologic care.

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Diagnose and treat a wide range of urological conditions.
• Clinical Services: Perform urological procedures and surgeries.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals. Place order for tests for healthcare staff to administer.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on urological health, treatment options, and preventive care measures to promote long-term wellness.
• Record Keeping: Review and interpret test results. Create and recommend treatment plans, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health records (EHR) software.
• Community Engagement: Participate in community health initiatives and education, fostering relationships with local residents to enhance patient awareness and access to care.
• Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in urology, including new procedures, technologies, and treatment protocols.
• Rotational Call: Required.
• Potential to provide APP oversight and respond timely to their needs.

Education, Experience, & Licensure

• Board certified Urologist from an accredited medical school.
• Current, or must be able to obtain, M.D. licensure in the State of Nebraska.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required; SRMC will help obtain.
• Current, or must be able to obtain, State and DEA Licenses.
