Pay Rate: $57.46/hr
Duration: 6 Months (With Possible Extension/Hire)

Job Description

Seeking a Scientist III to support antibody-oligonucleotide conjugate drug discovery within a medicinal chemistry research environment. This role focuses on the design, synthesis, purification, and characterization of functionalized oligonucleotides and bioconjugates supporting innovative therapeutic programs. The scientist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance conjugation technologies and optimize synthetic methodologies.

  • Design, synthesize, and purify functionalized oligonucleotides for antibody bioconjugation applications
  • Develop and optimize synthetic organic chemistry and bioconjugation strategies
  • Execute reaction design, optimization, and scale-up activities for complex molecular constructs
  • Characterize synthesized compounds using modern analytical and spectroscopic techniques
  • Evaluate synthetic feasibility and develop innovative solutions to complex chemistry challenges
  • Support antibody-oligonucleotide conjugate platform development through experimental execution and data analysis
  • Present scientific findings and technical recommendations to project teams
  • Contribute to drug discovery programs in a multidisciplinary research environment

Education

  • Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or related field with 1–3 years of relevant experience; OR
  • M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience
