Role Name: Senior Software Engineer I – Marketing Automation
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Local/Onsite Preferred | Remote may be considered for the right candidate)

 
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to join our Marketing Automation (MA) squad. This role is focused on designing, developing, and owning integrations across a modern SaaS-based MarTech ecosystem, with Oracle Eloqua, Salesforce, Adobe Analytics, and Sitecore serving as the core platforms.
This is an engineering-first position emphasizing API-driven integrations, enterprise data flows, and SaaS platform connectivity. The engineer will primarily support the RISK business while contributing as a shared engineering resource within the Marketing Automation squad.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations across Oracle Eloqua and other MarTech platforms.
  • Build scalable, maintainable, and high-performing integration solutions based on defined business requirements.
  • Develop integrations between marketing automation platforms, enterprise data warehouses/data lakes, CRM systems, and downstream applications.
  • Ensure reliable, secure, and accurate data synchronization across multiple enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver business use cases.
  • Support both ongoing initiatives and business-as-usual (BAU) activities while improving overall platform stability.
  • Develop reusable integration components, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Follow engineering best practices, including coding standards, testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize performance across connected platforms.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Technology (MarTech) engineering.
  • Proven experience designing and building integration-heavy solutions across SaaS platforms.
  • Strong experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Experience building and maintaining enterprise data pipelines and distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language:
    • C#
    • Python
    • JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Eloqua, including APIs and platform integrations.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation concepts, including:
    • Campaign orchestration
    • Audience segmentation
    • Customer data flows
    • Marketing workflows
  • Experience working with enterprise data warehouses or data lakes.
  • Experience working within Agile development teams.
  • Ability to independently deliver technical solutions from well-defined requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience integrating with CRM, analytics, or customer activation platforms.
  • Familiarity with marketing data models and customer data structures.
  • Experience designing reusable integration frameworks and architectural patterns.
  • Knowledge of enterprise SaaS integration best practices.
