Title: Welder

Description
- The Welder will be required to carry out cladding on machined parts to a high degree of quality, and work on his/her own initiative to meet the production schedule of the plant.
- The role will require the ability to weld many different types of components related to Gas and Steam turbine repairs.
- This position may be required to flex between first and second shift as needed.
- Performing visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications.
- Reading and understanding engineering drawings & specifications.
- Overlay of components using Tig & MiG per weld procedures.
- Setting up and welding components within the parameters of the specific weld procedure.
- Detailing grinding of components after weld repairs.
- Adhering to Company Safety and Environmental policies.
- Adhering to Company quality procedures.
Qualifications/Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent diploma. 7+ year experience.
- Experience of using foot control tig and MiG machines.
- Preference would be to have experience with SMAW & GMAW welding procedures.
- Experience of manual TIG.
- Advanced degree can be substituted for experience.
Essential Requirements of the Role
- 7+ years experience TIG and Mig experience, experience with SMAW & GMAW.
- Hard worker, driven, confident, ability to work independently.

- TIG & MIG.
- High School Diploma or GED.
