Are you a skilled welder ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a dedicated Welder to join our team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality cladding on machined parts, working independently to meet our production schedule, and welding various components related to Gas and Steam turbine repairs. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic workshop environment with a mix of first and second shifts during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Overlay components using TIG & MIG welding per specified procedures.
• Set up and weld components within the parameters of specific weld procedures.
• Detail grinding of components after weld repairs.
• Adhere to Company Safety and Environmental policies.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 7 years of experience with TIG and MIG welding.
• Experience with SMAW & GMAW welding procedures.
• Proficiency in using foot control TIG and MIG machines.

Preferences:

• Advanced degree can be substituted for experience.
• Hardworking, driven, and confident with the ability to work independently.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
