Position:USASAC Logistics Analyst II
Overview:ITC is seeking a Logistics Analyst II to support integrated logistics planning and execution on the USASAC FMS Enterprise Programmatic Support Services Contract. This role performs analysis, detailed planning, and execution of logistics support, including material goods, personnel, operational maintenance, and repair of systems throughout their life cycles, in a Security Assistance/Foreign Military Sales (FMS) environment. The Logistics Analyst II independently conducts feasibility analysis, requirements determination, and policy standards and procedures development in support of logistics planning, and applies organizational, leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills to advance demand planning, transportation support, customer relationships, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings substantial task-related technical experience in logistics support planning, material fielding, or sustainment support for systems, major end items, supply, or maintenance operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs analysis, detailed planning, and execution of logistics support for material goods, personnel, operational maintenance, and the repair of systems throughout their life cycles.
  • Conducts feasibility analyses to evaluate logistics support options, alternatives, and courses of action, and presents findings and recommendations to program leadership and the customer.
  • Conducts requirements determination activities, including the identification, validation, prioritization, and documentation of logistics support requirements.
  • Develops policy standards and procedures in support of logistics planning and execution, and provides implementation guidance to affected personnel.
  • Leads demand planning activities, including analysis of usage and consumption data, forecasting of materiel requirements, and identification and resolution of supply shortfalls.
  • Provides transportation support, including planning, coordination, and oversight of shipments, movement requirements, and distribution activities, and resolves issues affecting delivery.
  • Analyzes complex logistics data from multiple systems and sources to identify trends, shortfalls, cost drivers, risks, and opportunities affecting supportability and readiness.
  • Manages the status of requisitions, materiel, spare parts, repair actions, and shipments, resolving discrepancies and coordinating corrective action with stakeholders.
  • Performs logistics support planning, material fielding, and sustainment activities for systems, major end items, supply, and maintenance operations.
  • Develops and maintains logistics trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools used to monitor support status, materiel readiness, and performance against established metrics.
  • Prepares logistics support plans, requirements documentation, position papers, and recommendations, and delivers reports and briefings to program leadership and customer stakeholders.
  • Applies organizational, leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills to coordinate logistics activities, resolve issues, and drive support execution across functional teams.
  • Builds and sustains effective customer relationships, serving as a responsive point of contact and working proactively to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinates across supply, maintenance, transportation, contracting, engineering, and customer organizations to align logistics execution with program objectives.
  • Responds to data calls, customer requirements, and leadership inquiries with accurate, timely, and well-supported logistics information and analysis.
  • Identifies logistics support gaps and process inefficiencies and recommends improvements to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and customer outcomes.
  • Provides guidance, informal mentorship, and work product review to junior logistics personnel as needed.
  • Handles sensitive, proprietary, and controlled information with discretion and in accordance with company policy and contract requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A minimum of six (6) years of logistical experience and technical experience in logistics support planning, material fielding, or sustainment support for systems, major end items, supply, or maintenance operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business Administration or other related technical or professional discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting feasibility analysis, requirements determination, and the development of policy standards and procedures in support of logistics planning.
  • Demonstrated organizational, leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Active Interim Secret Clearance or above is required at the time of hire.  
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Security Assistance, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), USASAC, or U.S. Army logistics programs.
  • Working knowledge of DoD or Army logistics systems, data sources, and reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in demand planning, transportation support, or distribution management.
  • Experience developing logistics support plans, position papers, or briefing products for government leadership.
  • Experience building and sustaining customer relationships in a government contracting environment.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Prior military logistics experience or DoD civilian logistics experience.
  • Relevant certification (e.g., DAWIA Life Cycle Logistics, APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP, or PMP).
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
