Kia of Frisco is looking for an experienced Internal/Used Car Technician to join our Service Team. This role is focused on inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning pre-owned vehicles to get them safe, reliable, and frontline-ready. The Used Car Technician reports to the Shop Foreman and is an onsite dealership position.

What You'll Do

• Inspect and recondition used vehicle inventory
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, drivability, brake, suspension, steering, and HVAC concerns
• Complete maintenance and repairs needed for frontline readiness
• Identify and document recommended repairs
• Perform quality and safety inspections
• Meet internal production and turnaround expectations
• Use scan tools and electronic service information
• Partner with Service, Parts, and Used Car teams to keep vehicles moving
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of automotive technician experience
• Experience working on multiple makes and models
• Dealership or independent repair experience
• ASE Certifications
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and drivability repairs
• Manage multiple repair and reconditioning jobs
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
