Haag Ford Sales is looking for a motivated and dependable Used Vehicle Technician to join our growing service team. This position plays a key role in inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning pre-owned vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards before being offered for sale.

Compensation

• $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience, skill level, and productivity

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections and identify mechanical, electrical, and safety concerns
• Diagnose and repair used vehicle issues efficiently and accurately
• Complete reconditioning work including brakes, suspension, steering, drivability, and maintenance repairs
• Perform oil changes, tire services, and routine maintenance
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections according to dealership standards
• Document repairs and recommendations accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work closely with the Used Vehicle Manager and Service Department to meet reconditioning timelines

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
• Ability to perform quality work in a timely manner
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required
• Ford experience is a plus but not required
