THIS POSITION REQUIRES A CLEARANCE OF SECRET
Core One is seeking a qualified Graphic Design Specialist to design and provide visual communications services to an active contract supporting US Forces-Korea. The Graphic Design Specialist will ensure that all materials are visually appealing and clear for key leaders as well as general audiences.
Responsibilities
- Apply mastery of visual organization, working with visual elements in two or three dimensions, color theory and its applications to communicate ideas to the client.
- Create visual products that inspire, inform, and communicate; preparing these products through a wide-variety of means.
- Work individually and collaboratively in order to provide high-quality on-time deliverables.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge based on the equipment and technologies associated with graphic design.
- Communicate through visual media clearly and effectively.
- Address historical and cultural issues from a variety of lenses.
- Flex work activities in order to assist team-goals and client needs.
- Apply a thorough understanding of professional work within the context of organizational and structural working patterns.
Qualifications
- Active DoD secret clearance is required.
- Fluency in Korean, both reading and writing, preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent experience to show an understanding of the concepts of graphic design.
- Ability to effectively utilize Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Minimum of four years related experience.
- Keen perceptual acuity, conceptual understanding, and technical understanding.
- Demonstrated skill in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, and Flash.
- A proficient technical understanding of the Microsoft Suite of programs.
