Utility and Project Technician Job Summary/Objective: The Utility and Project Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. This multifaceted role includes general housekeeping, floor care, laundry services, and special project tasks to support infection prevention and operational readiness. The position supports all facility zones—patient care areas, public spaces, and support areas—in accordance with federal, state, and facility guidelines. Competencies:
Work Environment: This position requires lifting up to 40 pounds and involves continuous movement including standing, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing ladders. Work is performed throughout the facility and may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, biohazards, infectious materials, and varying environmental conditions. Shifts may include weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs. Physical Demands:
