Production-based incentives up to $744 per bi-weekly paycheck!

The starting rate ranges from $21 per hour for new technicians to $27 per hour for those with substantial prior experience.  New technicians will be moved to $22.66 once fully qualified and working independently in the field.

Responsible for the installation of Natural Gas Detectors and inspecting gas services for leaks and corrosion. This includes visual inspection and ensuring all required paperwork / documentation is completed. While on-site, technicians will also be responsible for identifying any abnormal operating conditions, notifying appropriate company personnel, and accurately filling out all forms associated with the inspection visit (form may be electronic or paper).

    

These are daytime, full-time positions and overtime may be required. Instructor led training will be provided. This position may require you to work weekends.

    What We Need from You (Our Requirements):

    • Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Previous outdoor experience is a plus

    • Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed

    • Ability to travel locally during the business day; some out-of-area or overnight travel may be expected

    • Able to pass a drug screen (this is a safety-sensitive position)

    • Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record required

    • Able to stand and walk for long periods of time on varying types of terrain; bend and stoop; lift heavy items up to 75 lbs.

    • Proficiency with technology

    • Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners. Customer service experience is a plus

    • Ability to use simple hand tools

    • Ability to read utility maps

    • Must be able to work in all boroughs of NYC without advanced notice as required by the customer.
