Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the sanitary condition of the facility by routinely cleaning floors, equipment, roofs, and outside grounds.
- Perform specialized cleaning tasks, including bin cleaning, rebolting sifters, and changing filter socks.
- Complete special duties assigned by management.
- Perform basic process maintenance.
- Cross-train in at least two different operator positions within the plant.
- Understand and follow all personnel and equipment safety policies, sanitation policies, and Business Unit policies and procedures.
- Ascend and descend stairs throughout the facility.
- Climb step ladders and extension ladders as required.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors in English.
Physical Requirements:
- Perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping.
- Maintain the ability to talk, hear, and see as required for job duties.
- Work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Work in conditions involving extreme cold, extreme heat, noise, hazards, and varying atmospheric conditions.
- Perform light to medium physical activities, including occasionally lifting 20–50 lbs. Anything above 50 lbs. Will require machine assistance or a buddy lift.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Willingness and ability to work additional hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to accept accountability and work effectively in a team.
