The UTS Instructor delivers advanced training to CI Special Agents, enabling them to conduct collection and operations in digitally enabled and technically complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and practical instruction on UTS-enabled CI operations
- Train non-technical CI personnel to operate effectively in digital and technical environments
- Develop and update course materials aligned with evolving threats and technologies
- Integrate legal, policy, and operational frameworks into instruction
- Support scenario-based training and operational exercises
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an advanced source handling course
- Completion of one or more of the following:
- UTS Tradecraft Seminar
- UTS Foundational Operations Course
- Emerging & Disruptive Technologies
- Technical Signals & Security Countermeasures
- Technical Tradecraft for HUMINT
- Demonstrated experience in:
- CI Collection or Offensive CI Operations
- HUMINT targeting
- Threat finance or technical operations
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Former CI/HUMINT operator with experience adapting to technical environments
- Strong instructor presence with ability to simplify complex technical concepts
- Experience in operationalizing digital tradecraft
