UX Design Lead

Experience: 8+ Years

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in UX/UI Design, Computer Science, or related field.

• 8+ years of experience in UX/UI or Product Design.

• Experience leading UX design for large enterprise or government applications.

• Strong skills in user research, wireframing, prototyping, journey mapping, and usability testing.

• Hands-on experience with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools.

• Experience working in Agile environments.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA).

• Ability to simplify complex business processes into user-friendly designs.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with government projects, ERP, or enterprise applications.

• State of Maryland government project experience.

• Experience creating UX design standards and design systems.

• Delivery or project management experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead UX/UI design activities for enterprise applications.

• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs.

• Conduct user research and usability testing.

• Work with business and technical teams to improve user experience.

• Ensure designs meet accessibility standards.

• Maintain UX documentation and recommend improvements.
