VA Infrastructure Engineering & Operations (IE&O) – Multiple Opportunities

TISTA is seeking talented professionals to support our U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Infrastructure Engineering & Operations (IE&O) program. 

We are building a pipeline of qualified candidates across multiple functional and technical disciplines. Opportunities may include program leadership, service delivery and service management, engineering, data center operations, application and data support, FinOps, business operations, technical writing, analysis, training, and other specialized positions supporting the IE&O program.

Depending on the position, responsibilities may include:

• Supporting VA infrastructure engineering and operations activities.
• Collaborating with VA stakeholders, TISTA program teams, and technical and operational partners.
• Supporting service delivery, service management, engineering, operations, and business functions.
• Contributing to the design, implementation, operation, or continuous improvement of enterprise solutions.
• Supporting program requirements, documentation, reporting, risk management, and customer deliverables.
• Working across multidisciplinary teams to support successful program delivery.

Qualifications will vary by position. Candidates may have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Federal government or Department of Veterans Affairs environments.
• Program or project management.
• Service delivery integration (SDI) and IT service management.
• Infrastructure or systems engineering.
• Cloud, telecommunications, or facilities engineering.
• Data center and site operations.
• DCIM, SQL, ETL, application or data support.
• FinOps, cost and usage analysis, or optimization.
• Business operations, agreements, billing, revenue, or labor controls.
• Technical writing, analysis, training, or organizational change support.

Education / Certifications

• Education, experience, and certification requirements will vary depending on the specific position.

Clearance: 

• Must be able to obtain and maintain the personnel suitability, credentials, system access, and training required per a Tier 4 / High Risk clearance.

Location: 

• Rockville, MD or Austin, TX.
• Onsite Requirements: In office a minimum of 2 days a week.
• Travel: As required per customer mission needs.
