    Position: Van Driver
    Location: Geneva Lake Manor, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin
    Schedule: Full Time- Mon-Fri 7a-5pm, evenings and weekends as needed.  Start/end times may change daily

    Job Summary
    The Van Driver is responsible for safely transporting senior residents to medical appointments, shopping centers, social activities, and other designated destinations. The driver ensures residents are treated with dignity, respect, and patience while providing reliable and courteous transportation services. Responsibilities include assisting residents when entering and exiting the vehicle, maintaining a clean and safe van, conducting routine vehicle inspections, and following all traffic laws and safety procedures.

    Key Responsibilities
     
    • Transport residents safely to appointments, activities, and community outings.
    • Assist seniors with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
    • Maintain a friendly, professional, and respectful attitude.
    • Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and report maintenance issues.
    • Keep the van clean, organized, and in good working condition.
    • Maintain accurate transportation schedules and mileage records.
    • Follow facility policies, traffic laws, and passenger safety procedures.
    • Communication schedule changes or transportation concerns management.
    • Complete weekly/monthly/quarterly vehicle inspection reports

    Qualifications
    •  High School Education or the equivalent 
    • At least 25 years of age 
    • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving history 
    • Must be physically able to lift, push and/or pull maximum of 80# 
    • Must be able to frequently bend, squat, or climb during an 8-hour day. 
    • Experience dealing with residents/patients  
    • Ability to work patiently and compassionately with older adults.
    • Dependable, punctual, and professional.
    • Must pass Background including MVR, Drug Screening
