Member of Mid-State Conference with Franklin, Martinsville, Mooresville, Perry Meridian, Plainfield, and Whiteland
Member of (4A) Sectional 12 - Center Grove, Decatur Central, Franklin Central, Mooresville, Perry Meridian, and Southport
Program History- 14 Conference Championships, 10 County Championships, 21 Sectional Championships, 6 Regional Championships, 3 Semi-State Championships and 1 State Title.
Two certified athletic trainers on staff
Great facilities; including state of the art weight room, athletic annex building, natural field, turf field, locker rooms, team meeting room/classroom/offices, and a field-turf multi-purpose field.
Qualifications:
Previous playing and/or coaching experience preferred
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Knowledge of baseball skills, competition, and strategy
Ability to form positive relationships with student-athletes, school staff, and community members
Ability to organize, supervise, and administer all phases of an education-based baseball program
Ability to contribute positively to building the program, aligning with varsity program goals and athletic department mission
Specific experience and expertise in pitching instruction and development, including the ability to teach proper pitching mechanics, arm care, pitch development, and overall pitching strategy
Strong understanding of developing pitchers at the middle school and high school level and preparing student-athletes for continued growth within the varsity program and beyond
