Varsity Head Baseball Coach

Magna Vista High School baseball coach will be in charge of the baseball program at Magna Vista High School. The head coach will be responsible for:

• Developing an off-season practice and conditioning program.
• Conducting regular practices during the spring season.
• Coaching and managing the team during games.
• Maintaining an inventory of equipment and uniforms.
• Working with the Athletic Director to request needed equipment for the program.
• Meet all VHSL and Henry County requirements for coaches.
• Attending all required VHSL trainings and rules clinics each year.
• Stay informed of rule changes, and communicate those with the necessary stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with the Athletic Director to build the Spring Schedule.
• Represent Magna Vista at All-District, All-Region, and All-State meetings.
• Maintaining a program that represents the highest standards of sportsmanship and discipline.
• Provide proper supervision of athletes at all team events.
• Communicate with parents, athletes, school administration, in a professional manner.
• Any other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or Principal.
