Overview:
OUSD seeks a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as the Head Coach for our high school track program. This position offers the opportunity to lead and inspire student-athletes in their athletic and personal development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training program for all track and field events.
- Provide skill instruction, coaching, and motivation to student-athletes.
- Plan and supervise all practices and meets throughout the season.
- Monitor and ensure the academic progress and eligibility of student-athletes.
- Foster a positive team culture emphasizing sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork.
- Collaborate with assistant coaches and support staff effectively.
- Maintain equipment and facilities used by the track team.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for student-athletes on and off the field.
- Ensure compliance with all school, district, and state athletic regulations.
