Vehicle Diagnostics Technician

• Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $45.00
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, First Shift

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Concentrate strictly on troubleshooting and triaging electrical and drivetrain issues.
• Diagnose a variety of vehicles, including buses, trucks, and automobiles.
• Focus exclusively on diagnostics while other technicians handle the physical repairs.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma, trade school credential, or equivalent.
• Experience: Three or more years of training or experience in automotive, truck, or bus repair (dealership experience preferred).
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid driver's license, ability to obtain a DOT medical card, current CDL or eligibility to obtain one, and current ASE certifications or willingness to work toward them.
• Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills in English, and a self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, twist, stand, walk, and work in and around vehicles for extended periods.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment safely.
