Pay Scale: $18.53 - $23.81

Qualifications Preferred:

• Possess a valid driver''s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five year''s experience driving vehicles.
• At least twenty-one (21) years old.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Good health, high moral character and good attendance record.
• Knowledge of working with special needs children preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules.
• Ability to make good decisions in complex situations.
• Ability to work with multiple handicapped children.
• Ability to carry out both written and oral directions/policies.
• Physically able to perform all items as listed in the essential duties.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Satisfactory report from State of Criminal Identification (every six years).
• Satisfactory annual records check (abstract bi-annual).
• Physically qualified (as determined by Rule 3301-83-07AD yearly).
• Successful completion of the pre-service training requirements of a four hour minimum driver course, driver''s performance evaluation, and possession of a valid Ohio pre-service van driver training certificate. (ORC 3327-10).
• Validation of qualifications as determined by an interview.
• Other relevant criteria as determined by the Board of Education, Superintendent and/or designee may find appropriate are acceptable.
