A-Action Vending Inc. is hiring for a Vending Service Technician who is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing,  and restocking vending machines to ensure they operate efficiently and provide excellent customer service.

Job Title: Vending Service Technician

Job Summary:
The Vending Service Technician is responsible for servicing vending machines by performing installations, preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and restocking products as needed. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair vending machines and related equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Refill vending machines with food, beverages, and other products.
• Collect cash and reconcile machine transactions, when required.
• Clean and sanitize vending machines to maintain appearance and food safety standards.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Respond promptly to service calls and customer requests.
• Maintain accurate service records, inventory, and parts usage.
• Operate a company vehicle safely while traveling to customer locations.
• Follow all company safety procedures and food handling regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in vending, appliance repair, HVAC, electronics, or mechanical maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of vending machine software and payment systems.

• Time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Work Environment:

• Travel to customer locations throughout assigned routes.
• Frequent lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
• Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• May require occasional weekends, holidays, or on-call service.
