    Pay: $75,000.00 - $178,000.00 per year

    Location: On-site in New York, NY, working closely with attorneys and deal teams in a collaborative office environment.

    Note: Candidates must have prior experience supporting venture capital fund formation or private investment funds.

    About Our Client: Our client is a nationally recognized law firm focused on the innovation economy, advising startups, founders, and venture capital firms on high-impact corporate transactions across every stage of growth.

    Job Description

    • Support venture capital fund formation and ongoing fund operations
    • Maintain and manage fund formation checklists and closing materials
    • Review and process investor subscription documents
    • Coordinate and organize general partner, main fund, side fund, and management company entities
    • Distribute closing documents and prepare closing volumes
    • Assist with federal and state securities filings
    • Support transfers of fund interests, including preparing transfer documentation and reviewing investor eligibility
    • Work closely with attorneys and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of fund matters

    Qualifications

    • 1+ year of experience in venture fund formation or investment funds
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
    • High attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to manage multiple priorities
    • BS or BA degree required
