For more than 30 years, AVS Equine Medical & Surgical Hospital has been a trusted leader in equine veterinary medicine throughout North Florida, South Georgia, and the surrounding region. Located in beautiful Tallahassee, Florida, our hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care while creating a positive, collaborative environment for our clients, patients, and team.

We are seeking an Equine Veterinarian who is passionate about advanced equine medicine, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering the highest standard of care.

What We're Looking For

An equine veterinarian who is passionate about equine medicine, dedicated to exceptional patient care, and eager to grow within a supportive, collaborative team.

Our ideal candidate may have experience with:

• Routine equine surgical procedures
• Working up and managing lameness cases
• Sound clinical judgment and a commitment to high-quality patient care
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Working collaboratively within a veterinary team
• A genuine passion for equine medicine and continued professional growth

We also welcome internship-trained and early-career veterinarians. If you have a strong foundation in equine medicine, a willingness to learn, and a passion for providing excellent patient care, we would love to hear from you. We're open to considering candidates with varying levels of experience and will value the right combination of skills and team fit.
