The team includes veterinarians, credentialed technicians, veterinary assistants, client service professionals and practice leadership who support excellent clinical standards and smooth clinic flow. Services include preventive and wellness care, vaccinations, dentistry and dental cleanings, spay/neuter and routine surgery, microchipping and DNA testing, diagnostics and support for common orthopedic and dermatologic concerns. The facility features a surgical suite, dental equipment, on-site diagnostic testing and imaging, and in-clinic pharmacy access. The Role
- Provide high-quality preventive care, diagnosis and treatment for primarily canine and feline patients
- Perform routine soft-tissue surgery (e.g., spay/neuter) and dental procedures
- Utilize on-site diagnostics and imaging to guide case management
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure clear, compassionate client communication
- Uphold patient and team safety through proper restraint and sterile, organized clinical practices
- Comply with all local, state and federal regulations, including controlled substance management
- Collaborate closely with technicians and support staff to deliver efficient, patient-centered care
- Part-time relief/locum position with Saturday availability

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent
- License to practice (or ability to obtain) in the state of Kansas
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Proficiency in routine surgeries and dentistry, with strong clinical judgment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and comfort with digital medical records
- Ability to meet the physical demands of clinical practice, including lifting up to 50 pounds
