At Guiding Eyes for the Blind, we are passionate about connecting exceptional dogs with individuals seeking greater independence. We are dedicated to creating and supporting life-changing partnerships between people and dogs.
At our facilities, we breed, raise, and train exceptional guide dogs – and match them with individuals ready to embrace a life of greater freedom, confidence, and possibility. Together, they embark on incredible life adventures. Are you ready to play a role in that journey? Join us and help be a part of transforming lives.
Our incredible dogs make our mission possible – and working with them will inspire you! We put our clients first, striving to exceed their expectations by providing exceptional dogs trained to meet their unique needs and empower them to live the lives they choose.
Are you seeking a meaningful career where you can make a difference every day? Are you passionate about providing exceptional care to patients who truly change lives? If so, the role of Veterinarian at Guiding Eyes might be right for you!
As a member of our veterinary team, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our mission. You’ll practice high-quality veterinary medicine in a unique and rewarding environment, becoming an expert in the care of our Labrador Retrievers and German Shepherds. From breeding to puppyhood, formal training, active guide work, and retirement, your expertise will ensure each dog receives the highest standard of care at every stage of life.
You’ll also work closely with our volunteers and graduate teams – and the relationships you build will be as meaningful as the care you provide. Because all veterinary services are provided at no cost to our Puppy Raisers and guide dog teams, you can focus entirely on what matters: delivering thoughtful, individualized care without the limitations of financial constraints.
You will love working with our clients, and the feeling will be mutual! At our fully equipped, on-site Veterinary Hospital, you’ll have access to everything you need to provide top-tier care. You’ll work alongside a close-knit, collaborative team that shares your passion for animals, medicine, and mission-driven work.
If you’re ready to use your veterinary skills in a role that makes a real impact – and if you value teamwork, purpose, and compassion – we encourage you to apply!
