Your Role
Working closely with our veterinarians and hospital team, you will:
- Room patients and obtain thorough medical histories from pet owners
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments and assist veterinarians during examinations
- Provide routine patient care, administer vaccines, and safely restrain patients for exams and treatments
- Collect laboratory samples, perform blood draws, run in-house laboratory diagnostics, and prepare samples for outside laboratories
- Educate clients on medications, preventive care, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure timely documentation of patient care
- Clean, stock, and organize exam rooms and treatment areas to support daily hospital operations
- Support a variable caseload depending on seasonal demand while maintaining efficient workflow
- Assist with scheduling, client check-in/check-out, answering phones, and other duties as assigned

The Right Fit:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a veterinary practice, or currently enrolled in a Veterinary Technician program
- Strong communicator with a warm, client-focused approach
- Detail-oriented, team-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced general practice environment
- Experience working with exotics is a plus!
