About the Role:Angels of Assisi in Roanoke, VA is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Veterinary Customer Service Representative to join our team! In this role, you'll be the welcoming face and voice of our clinic, helping pet owners feel confident and cared for every step of the way. Responsibilities:- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive front desk experience
- Schedule and confirm veterinary appointments
- Answer client inquiries about services, pricing, and general pet care with professionalism
- Accurately maintain and update patient records in veterinary practice management software (ezyVet)
- Process payments
- Coordinate communication between clients and veterinary staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Check out clients from wellness and surgery appointments
Requirements:- Prior customer service experience required; veterinary or animal care experience strongly preferred
- Genuine love for animals and ability to handle pets in a clinical environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency with computers and ability to learn veterinary management software quickly
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic setting
- Empathetic and patient demeanor when working with concerned or grieving pet owners
