Lead a high-impact veterinary leadership role in Tucson, AZ, with earnings up to $196,000. This is a rare chance for an experienced clinician to guide hospitals, mentor doctors, and shape standards of care while remaining hands-on in practice.

The Hospital

- On-site diagnostics, including digital radiology and in-house laboratory testing for rapid decision-making.
- General surgery and dental capabilities supported by robust anesthesia, pain management, and recovery protocols.
- In-house pharmacy, convenient drop-off appointments, and telehealth options that streamline workflow and improve client access.
- A structured team model of veterinarians, credentialed technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service coordinators.
- A culture that emphasizes inclusion, well-being, clear communication, and continuous improvement.
- Professional client experience features, including interpretation services, to ensure accessible care for a diverse community.
- Predictable, consistent schedules that include early weekday starts and limited weekend coverage.

- Robust regional healthcare and medical research cluster, supporting professional growth and collaboration.
- Immediate access to outdoor recreation: Saguaro National Park, Sabino Canyon, Mount Lemmon, and extensive hiking and biking trails.
- Abundant sunshine and mild winters that encourage an active lifestyle all year.
- Cost of living generally lower than many West Coast and larger Sun Belt metros, helping compensation and relocation stretch further.
- Tucson International Airport with multiple nonstop routes; approximately 110 miles to Phoenix for additional connections; Amtrak service available.
- UNESCO City of Gastronomy with a distinctive Sonoran and Mexican food scene, plus vibrant arts, festivals, and community events (including the Gem Show, El Tour de Tucson, and the All Souls Procession).
- Walkable urban districts linked by the Sun Link streetcar and bus network, including downtown, Fourth Avenue, and the university area.

Benefits
- Comprehensive health benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
- Generous paid time off and paid holidays.
- Continuing education allowance and paid CE days.
- State veterinary license and DEA registration reimbursement.

- Potential relocation assistance.
- Production-based incentives aligned with clinical quality and client experience.

The Role
- Full-time, hospital-based leadership position serving as a working manager.
- Leads, develops, and supports associate veterinarians across assigned hospitals to deliver consistent, high-quality, patient- and client-centered care.
- Partners closely with practice management to drive a positive culture, effective teamwork, and strong clinical operations.
