Veterinary Technician | Thrive Cedar Park | $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

Compensation: $18.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and credentials

Schedule: Full-time | 3–4 days per week | 7:55 a.m.–6:15 p.m. | At least two Saturdays per month

What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care throughout every stage of a visit.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with wellness and sick appointments
• Obtaining patient histories and performing clinical assessments
• Collecting diagnostic samples, including blood, urine, and fecal specimens
• Performing venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Assisting with surgery and dental procedures
• Monitoring anesthesia and patient recovery
• Educating clients on treatment plans, medications, nutrition, and preventive care
• Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records
• Supporting a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
• Provide support with additional duties to support the team, patient care, and hospital operations

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Minimum of 1 year of veterinary technician experience in a small animal hospital
• Proficiency with:
  • Venipuncture
  • IV catheter placement
  • Patient restraint and low-stress handling
  • Surgical preparation
  • Diagnostic sample collection
  • Anesthesia monitoring

Preferred:

• Dental experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish
