Veterinary Technician - Lead

VCA Community Companion Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to Lead our team.

Location: 5271 Sereno Dr, Temple City, CA 91780

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday

Salary: $ 28 - $ 32 / hour

Depending on experience, skill level, and credentials.

Registered Veterinary Technician Lead Role:

• Working Leadership Role:

Actively participate in daily clinical operations while leading, mentoring, and supporting the technical team.

• Team Leadership:

Coordinate workflow, delegate tasks, foster collaboration, and promote team development and accountability.

• Clinical Excellence:

Uphold high standards of patient care, client service, clinical protocols, and patient safety.

• Operational Support:

Collaborate with the Medical Director and Hospital Manager to implement hospital protocols, improve operational efficiency, and support organizational goals.

• Leadership Experience:

Demonstrated leadership and/or management experience, with strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Physical examinations and patient assessment
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Surgical preparation and assisting

• Radiology
• Laboratory work
• Venipuncture
