Veterinary Technician Manager Old Town Animal Care Center

Job Description

Old Town Animal Care Center is hiring a Veterinary Technician Manager to lead our growing technician team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will manage staff, oversee scheduling, and support daily hospital operations while performing all veterinary technician duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage technician team scheduling and daily workflow
  • Train, coach, and develop veterinary technicians and assistants
  • Oversee staff performance, communication, and team culture
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts
  • Perform all veterinary technician duties (patient care, anesthesia monitoring, surgery support, diagnostics, client education)
  • Ensure high standards of patient care and operational efficiency

Qualifications:

  • 1-3+ years of veterinary technician experience required
  • Previous leadership or management experience required
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $25-$30/hour (based on experience and skills assessment) + signing bonus
