About the Role:
Chester County Cat Hospital is looking for a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our feline-focused team in West Chester, PA! Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, procedures, and treatments for feline patients
• Perform or assist with diagnostic procedures including blood draws, urinalysis, and radiographs
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
• Monitor and care for patients during recovery and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using practice management software
• Educate and communicate with cat owners regarding care, treatment plans, and follow-up
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment

Requirements:

• Experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant preferred
• CVT/LVT licensure or certification a plus, but not required for assistant-level candidates
• Comfortable and confident handling cats of all temperaments
• Strong knowledge of feline anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical procedures
• Excellent communication and client education skills
• Compassionate, team-oriented, and calm under pressure
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
