    Veterinary Technician Certified or Experienced (Surgical & Dental Focus)

    Animal Care of Oradell is a progressive, privately owned small animal veterinary hospital dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. We are seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) or an experienced Veterinary Technician (minimum of two years in the field) to join our growing medical team.

    This position offers the opportunity to use your technical skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment with a strong emphasis on surgical and dental care. Certification is preferred, but candidates with proven hands-on experience in anesthesia, surgical support, and dentistry are encouraged to apply.

    Key Responsibilities

    As a vital member of our clinical team, you will:

    • Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring

    • Perform dental cleanings and take dental radiographs

    • Provide compassionate patient care and safe animal restraint

    • Prepare patients for surgery and monitor recovery

    • Administer medications and treatments as directed

    • Collect and process lab samples

    • Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient care and follow-up

    • Maintain accurate medical records and assist with inventory management

    What We're Looking For

    • Minimum of 2 years of veterinary technician or assistant experience

    • Hands-on experience with anesthesia, surgery, and dental procedures

    • Certification (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred but not required

    • Strong communication and organizational skills

    • Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Hourly pay: $20.00 - $25.00 (based on skill, experience, and certification)
