V-Hole Operator General Function: Proficiently operate and maintain the V-Hole equipment. Duties: 1. Transfer and load materials to/from V-Hole machine. 2. Process and inspect products in conformance with both verbal and written instruction. 3. Perform machine specific cleaning procedures. 4. Assist maintenance department in performing machine specific preventive maintenance. 5. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement. 6. Participate in setup and machine changeover when needed. Working Conditions: Works inside plant where there is a great deal of noise. The work may be dusty, dirty and greasy. May handle sharp edged metal and be exposed to chemicals used in oil. Physical Effort: Works on a hard surface; stands, stoops, bends and lifts heavy objects weighing 35-50 pounds. Safety Equipment: Wears safety shoes, glasses, gloves and ear plugs where required. Qualification Requirements: High School diploma or GED; One (1) year experience in manufacturing environment. Additional Preferred Qualifications: Three (3) years or more manufacturing experience in VHole processes. |
