Vice President of Operation

1. Position and Responsibilities

As Vice President of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Bank’s operational functions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, regulatory compliance, and effective internal controls. You will report to the Bank’s designated executive management Katarzyna Chowaniec and will be expected to exercise sound judgment, professional discretion, and leadership in carrying out your responsibilities.

Your principal duties will include, but will not be limited to:

• Operational Leadership: Oversee daily banking operations and ensure that operational procedures are consistently followed and effectively administered.
• Deposit Operations: Supervise deposit-related processes, account maintenance, transaction processing, reconciliations, exception handling, and related operational controls.
• Internal Controls and Risk Management: Identify operational deficiencies, implement corrective measures, and maintain appropriate safeguards to reduce errors, losses, and operational risk.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that assigned operational functions adhere to applicable federal and Illinois banking laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and the Bank’s internal policies and procedures.
• Audit and Examination Support: Assist with internal and external audits, regulatory examinations, documentation requests, and timely resolution of findings.
• Staff Supervision: Provide leadership, direction, training, and accountability for employees within your area of responsibility.
• Management Reporting: Communicate material operational issues, staffing concerns, control weaknesses, and recommendations to executive management in a timely manner.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate existing procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement practical measures to enhance operational performance and service quality.

You will be expected to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, demonstrate professional integrity, and act in the best interests of the Bank at all times.

2. Compensation

Your annual base salary will be $87,500, payable in accordance with the Bank’s regular payroll practices and subject to applicable payroll deductions and withholdings.

This position is designated as exempt from overtime requirements, contingent upon the position’s actual duties and compensation satisfying applicable federal and Illinois law. The exempt designation does not alter your obligation to fulfill the responsibilities and expectations of the position.

4. Ninety-Day Introductory and Performance Evaluation Period

Your employment will be subject to an initial ninety-day introductory period, beginning on your first day of employment.
