    The Vice President - Operations, Data Centers (DTC) is responsible for leading operational performance across mission-critical data center projects and services, ensuring best-in-class delivery across safety, quality, schedule, cost, and reliability.

    This role drives execution excellence, standardization, and scalable delivery across hyperscale and enterprise data center environments. The VP of Operations partners with engineering, commissioning, and project management teams to ensure high-performance infrastructure delivery with a strong focus on uptime, redundancy, and speed-to-market.

    Explore your tasks and responsibilities

    Operational Leadership & Performance

    • Lead operational performance across all data center projects and field execution activities
    • Ensure delivery across safety, quality, schedule, cost, and productivity metrics
    • Drive standardized operating models, KPIs, and performance governance across projects
    • Monitor execution performance and implement corrective actions to achieve targets

    Execution Excellence in Mission-Critical Environments

    • Oversee project execution across the full lifecycle with focus on reliability and uptime requirements
    • Ensure delivery of high-performance electrical, mechanical, and critical infrastructure systems
    • Drive consistency in construction and installation of mission-critical systems (power, cooling, redundancy)
    • Support seamless transition from construction through commissioning and operational readiness

    Preconstruction & Operational Planning

    • Partner with commercial and preconstruction teams on bid strategy and execution planning
    • Provide operational input into constructability, phasing, and fast-track delivery approaches
    • Ensure operational readiness to support aggressive schedules and phased turnovers
    • Enhance competitiveness through optimized delivery strategies and execution planning

    Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on speed-to-market, cost efficiency, and execution quality
    • Implement standardization, modularization, and prefabrication strategies where applicable
    • Reduce rework and improve schedule predictability across projects
    • Strengthen operational scalability to meet growing data center demand

    People Leadership & Capability Development

    • Build and lead high-performing operations and field leadership teams
    • Develop specialized capabilities in mission-critical construction and systems delivery
    • Drive workforce planning, talent development, and succession strategies
    • Foster a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and execution excellence

    Safety, Quality & Organizational Alignment

    • Champion a strong safety culture aligned with Incident-Free Workplace principles
    • Ensure adherence to strict quality standards and performance expectations for mission-critical environments
    • Promote alignment with company strategy, operational priorities, and delivery objectives
    • Act as a visible leader reinforcing a culture of performance, reliability, and discipline

    Show your expertise

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
    • Deep expertise in data center or mission-critical project delivery
    • Strong understanding of electrical/mechanical infrastructure (power, cooling, redundancy systems)
    • Proven ability to lead operations in fast-paced, high-growth environments
    • Strong focus on schedule performance, speed-to-market, and execution reliability
    • Ability to implement standardized delivery models and scalable operations
    • Experience supporting hyperscale or enterprise data center projects
    • Proven success in fast-track, high-complexity construction environment
